Nothing like it!
(11/14/2011)
What a nice surprise. The stuff from Grandmas came late yesterday. The blanket is nice and big and very soft. Soup was still frozen but will have some today. It really does look like a grandma's soup. The bread is delicious...........of course I had to try it out even though it is only 5:15 am. And of course I had to slather it with butter. Yummy.
Thank you. Nothing like comforting things when you are not feeling well. You know me too well.
Love Mom

recovering from cancer
(11/10/2010)
Hi Betsy,
I am currently at home recovering from tongue cancer surgery. Never a smoker and only a social drinker, no family history or risk factors. My tongue is swollen to the point of not being able to get anything but clear liquids down. When I received the package from your company yesterday (my mother-in-laws generous gift) it brought a smile to my face. My family is missing my home cooking and I was craving something warm that would slide down easily. My husband drained some of the broth for me and they ate the rest. This was by far the highlight of my dreadful recovery day.
Thank you to all the Grandma’s!!
Best Regards,
Lisa

better than flowers
(11/10/2010)
I wanted to say thanks so much for the beautiful gift package that you delivered to my sister Maureen. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and had a lump- ectomy and will start chemo and radiation within the next month. She was so thrilled to get her package and said the soup looked awesome, stating "The chunks of chicken were HUGE!" It meant so much to her and is much better than the usual gift of flowers that usually die within a week. Thanks again! We'll BOTH recommend your service to others!

My husband is undergoing cancer treatment. This soup was definitely the best medicine! What a wonderful gift. AND....I didn't have to cook:-)

Susan is our very old and dear friend (she lived next door to us growing up) who is having final breast reconstruction tomorrow. What better way to feel better than with chicken soup?!

You are an angel!
(4/5/2010)
Betsy,
You are an angel! The friend I ordered the soup for was just diagnosed with three kinds of cancer and is currently in the hospital getting chemo. He'll be headed to his brother's house instead of back home once he is released, only to go back in a few days once he gets some strength back. The new address is the brother's house. I'm sure they'll all enjoy!
Thank you so much!

the BEST chicken soup
(2/23/2010)
It was the BEST chicken soup I've ever had!
So, when a friend was going through radiation/chemo protocol for pancreatic cancer, we sent her the soup. She and her husband were equally impressed.
So I can vouch for the product!

Cancer Get Well

My uncle has cancer and had just started eating again (and he is a foodie and loves to eat) so I sent him the soup with the fleece blanket included. It was the perfect gift and he really appreciated it as did I. Thanks!
